About WaveSmith
Record audio, cut MP3s, convert WAV to MP3, add audio effects, extract audio from video, and import YouTube to MP3 — on this PC. No upload. No account. No watermark.
WaveSmith 1.1.0 is a Windows desktop audio editor. This product uses source code from AudioMass. The website, installer, and trademark WaveSmith are independent.
The job is the file: record or open, cut on the waveform, convert a delivery copy, keep a float master. It is not a DAW timeline and not a browser tab that uploads your voicemail. Language and window size remember on this PC.
Menus stay file-first: Open, Save, Convert/Export with fifty-eight named targets, Record on WASAPI, Process for repair and LUFS, Effects for EQ and dynamics. There is no Studio menu and no cloud account. FFmpeg and yt-dlp land in your user folder on first use.
This website is English by default with nine other locales. Illustrated guides cover record, trim, WAV to MP3, extract a soundtrack, and effects. Comparison pages sit next to Audacity, Ocenaudio, and online MP3 cutters so each search has one job.
